Avocado Deviled Eggs

Do You Love Deviled Eggs but hate the calories that are with it?

One of my favorite appetizers is Deviled Eggs, but everyone knows that with Deviled Eggs 2 halves can equal to 250 calories. One alternative that I found that was pretty delicious was Avocado Deviled Eggs. 2 halves of Avocado Deviled Eggs can equal to 77.5 calories. Not only do I love avocado but this is much better than the actual deviled eggs itself and is much healthier too.

In order for you to make Avocado Deviled Eggs you would need the following:

6 eggs, hard boiled
1 medium avocado, diced small
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (to taste)
salt
cayenne, minced parsley or cilantro (to garnish)

1. First step is to boil the eggs
2. After they are boiled, you would want to let it cool down so therefore you do not burn yourself. While letting them cool down for about 5-10 minutes you can start by peeling the avocado.
3. Next you would want to peel the shell off the eggs, cut them in half and remove the yolk.
4. Place the yolk, the avocado, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder and cayenne pepper inside a bowl and mix.
5. After everything is mixed, scoop a spoonful and place it inside the egg whites. Do this for every egg
6. Sprinkle the deviled eggs with cayenne, minced parsley or cilantro to garnish.

This recipe is very easy and soon as the eggs are boiled is very fast to make.

Now you can eat more than 2 halves without feeling guilty of the calories.
