Honey Peanut Butter! The name says it all...
I regularly commute from the East Bay to San Francisco so that leaves me with little time to spend on making breakfast. But because it’s the most important meal of the day, I never skip it. My go-to meal that’s quick, easy, and healthy is a peanut butter banana sandwich. It gives me the energy I need to go about my day that’s full of potassium, fiber and protein. The key ingredient to my sandwich is the peanut butter. While Jiffy’s has a place in my heart as a childhood staple in my Hello Kitty lunchbox, I have now switched over to Whole Foods Honey Peanut Butter. What I especially love about this peanut butter is the fact that no sugar is added; you get that sweetness from the honey without it being too overpowering. You can also customize your peanut butter to your desired consistency thanks to the grinding stations available in store – chunky, smooth, or somewhere in between. Whenever I'm in a rush, I always run for some low-sugar maple brown sugar oatmeal. It's fast and I can just grab it and head out the door. It's also great with some berries.
